Bearing Products

Range covers precision ball bearings manufactured to ABEC 1 to ABEC 9 tolerances and with bore dimensions ranging from 0.6mm - 90mm.

Talent Precision Machinery specialize in manufacturing ball bearings.  Ball bearings mainly take radial load as well as take moderate axial load. Their ball bearings range include: miniature ball bearings, deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, thrust ball bearing & needle roller bearings with less coefficient of friction, high limiting speed, large size range and various structure.

Their range covers precision ball bearings manufactured to ABEC 1 to ABEC 9 tolerances and with bore dimensions ranging from 0.6mm to 90mm.  Bearings are available in Carbon Chrome & Stainless Steel. Also many levels of EMQ noise reduced options are available.

They are proud of their ability to service a wide range of industrial, manufacturing, and design applications.

Miniature Ball Bearings

Miniature Ball bearings are sometimes referred to as instrument bearings or micro bearings which are very small machined components that include an outer ring, inner ring, balls, retainers, shields and snap rings.

They are available in inch and metric sizes, open or shielded and flanged or without flange. Sizes available conform to Metric 600 Series, MR Metric Series and Inch series.

Standard lubricant is Aeroshell Fluid 12 as oil and Kyodo Yushi SRL as a grease. Due to differing applications the demands on lubrication varies and there is a wide range of options available to suit most circumstances – please enquire.

Deep Groove Ball Bearings

Deep groove ball bearings are the most commonly used variety of ball bearings and can be purchased in seal, shield, and snap-ring arrangements. The race dimensions within these kinds of bearings closely match the dimensions of the balls that are contained. They are also well suited to the support of weighty loads.

Deep groove ball bearings provide both radial and axial support. However, the contact angle can’t be adjusted in order to vary the relative levels of such loads. Up to 90mm bore sizes available.

Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Angular contact ball bearings feature internal and external ring raceways, which are disconnected from each other in relation to the bearing axis. These bearings allow for the support of loads with a combination of axial and radial forces.

It is not possible to dismantle these bearings and remove the races or balls. However, they may feature a relatively large number of balls for increased support of axial and radial loads. Such bearings allow for the optimisation of speed and minimisation of friction specific to different loads.

Self-Aligning Spherical Bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings feature an inner ring and ball assembly, which is held securely within an outer ring with a spherical raceway. The design of these ball bearings is such that they can tolerate a minor angular misalignment occurring as a result of either deflections or incorrect mounting. Such ball bearings are typically incorporated within long shafts due to the associated difficulty of properly mounting housing bores.

It is also quite common for such bearings to be included in mechanical systems where there would otherwise be a risk of shaft bending during operation. However, the use of self-aligning bearings should be restricted to light axial load applications because the outer ring raceway provides a limited amount of support for the rolling elements.

Thrust Ball Bearings

A thrust bearing, is a type of rotary bearing, which rotates between parts reducing friction and is designed to support an axial load (mostly in low-speed applications).

It is the axial bearing that permits rotation between parts. Commonly used in crankshaft assemblies.

Needle Roller Bearings

Needle roller bearings are used for universal joints, gearbox layshafts, first motion shafts, mainshaft constant mesh gear wheel bearings, two stroke heavy duty connecting rod small bearings etc.

Due to increased contact with the shaft they can accommodate up to x8 the load capacity of similar sized deep groove ball bearing but at expense of higher level of friction.

High-speed applications for ultra-precision equipment require tight tolerances and super-fine surface finishes.  These precision ball bearings, which deliver higher yields and lower costs, are the perfect choice
